Right. The kit should keep you entertained for a while. The gent you
picked them up from was curios about the tubes in the radio's as he is
building amps for his music hobby. I have several other tubes I want to
sell and if they don't you are more than welcome to them. Let me know
what you think of the radio's you just got.

The Swan face is superb. The case needs painting. I typically recap and tube.
The Viking is in fair to good. That is actually great for a rig that old. The
rust spot will be the biggest problem. If I can't do anything about them, I can
try and get a new face. But the fact the unit looks complete and undamaged if
half the work. I thank you greatly.

I will let you know which tubes they are. I have to open them up. I will
probably clean them in a couple weeks, before I start replacing components.

I tried getting info on the year the Viking was made but came up empty.
I didn't even notice the rust on it.
Since the older amateurs who ran those rigs are slowly passing on I'm
sure there will be loads more of them appearing.
