Found a really good schematic for a 6m linear on the bottom half of this page:
http://www.aimcomm.net/sparky/p987.gif Notice the excellent bias regulation, the filament tied to the cathode, the filament supply choked and bypassed.... all good examples of proper RF engineering practices. Now if you take a look at Skippy's site... LOL! And to keep this post somewhat on-topic, the top half of that page has a really cool tube LOWFER transmitter, in case anyone is interested. One watt, a range of 50+ miles with a good antenna, and no license required! -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |

That may be a bit more than I'm looking for, I have a bid on one now. -- http://NewsReader.Com/ 50 GB/Month |
