Well, in total, 66% of this newsgroup is easily filterered crap. I would
say that at least another 25% is a bit harder to filter by subject, but is
crap just the same.
Look through the figures below, you will see that I do not read much from
many of the people on here. OK, so I read less than 1% of twisty's posts...
but, whatever you come out smelling of - they won't be using to make
perfume, that's for sure.

Until you change your "nic", you are generally in my filter by name, as are
several other posters on this group - purely because the posts are rarely of
any benefit to the group or readers. When you change your "nic", the new
one goes in the filter. Your posts may not be as offensive as certain
people on here, but it is almost all just arguments.

For the useful content in their posts, I may as well do the same with
Richard Cranium, Chim Bubba, and Twistedhed. Nothing against the
chaps, just that I don't have the time to drudge through megabytes of
crap looking for that one good post.

I never said they were Trolls, I never even said that you were a troll - I

You will notice that there are people from both sides of the "fence" going

depends upon whether they are replying to defend themselves or starting

Surely, you don't expect to call people names and take no sh*t for it. The
fact is that most of the crud posts are in reply to someone. Some of the
messages are clearly sent to get a reaction and stir trouble, while others
are just people defending themselves.

Remember that you don't come out of it looking too good - when do you post
useful messages or replies? I am not saying that people like Cranium and
Bubba are angels - there is crap coming from both sides, and some
people post nothing but crap.
However, there are people stuck in the middle who either post very little or
just reply to defend themselves. The difficulty is knowing when to let it
go, when trolls are insulting you via a worldwide medium.

If you *really* want an end to the crap in this group, then you have to
become part of the solution - not the problem. People who cannot see the
difference between CB topics and sex have a serious problem, and will have
no real "pro-legal" credibility.

As you should know, I have nothing against legal CB - my CB system is
legal -
but the trolling and "gay" posts are off topic, a waste of bandwidth, and
are driving the few newbies away from this group.
