Good point, my antenna's are 250' from my house so ant and feed
are very important. I haven't trenched it in yet tho.

Power is over-rated, especially if you have neighbors.

250'? not worried about loss? what type of coax?

LMR 400. There's line loss but not enough to be concerned with. I
like it when my pin cushion is 350' from the road.
