Default 80,s homebase info

Hi guys,
Wondering if anyone out there used or still has an old homebase from the
70/80s.....
I fancy a piece of kit from the good old days and rather like the look of
the President Madison (with the flip clock)
I wonder what boards / performance was like.....

the Ham Jumbo/Excaliber seems to go for double the price of others

is this justified or is it just taste.........

thx in advance for opinions and info

TONY.
