This one is funny. J ENFORCEMENT: NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE VALUE OF CB RADIO Turning to the enforcement arena, never underestimate the value of an 11 meter Class D C-B radio set in catching a bad guy. Even when the alleged perpetrator happens to be the C-B operator at the controls. Bill Pasternak, WA6ITF, has the details: -- According to the CGC Communicator, complaints about interference from a citizens band radio led police to the home of one Vernando Malone of South Bend, Indiana. When they searched the premises they found more than $20,000 worth of Nextel cellular telephones and another $20,000 in Motorola phones. Also located was a computer that Malone allegedly used to activate the phones Malone has now been charged with forgery and theft. This, in connection with what police claim was scheme to fraudulently order large numbers of cell phones, activate them with a home computer, and then sell them on the street at discounted prices. For the Amateur Radio Newsline, I'm Bill Pasternak, WA6ITF, in Los Angeles. -- Stamp this one 10-4 good buddy. And if you want to read more, its on-line at http://tinyurl.com/ytb3z (CGC) |

Not as funny as you playing up to forges and making the ham community
aware of your antics. Plenty behind the scenes, JerrkyO. Ask N8WWM about Adam and the ARRL. Anyways, it was my pleasure. |

I am not part of any group, I DO NOT forge people, I don't get involved in people's arguments. I have nothing to do with 'anti-keyclown' or whatever the hell it is. Now, all I have to do to post an innocuous piece of news and you fire back with some nonsense yap crap about damn forges. Bud, I represent my SELF and no other. If I want to say something, I WILL. I can take care of my own damn self YOU tell me what "antics" I've been up to? Anything I say on any message board, I am not ashamed of, and anyone that doesn't like it can kiss my a$$. J |

Why not post it in the proper newsgroup, perhaps alt.cellphone.hacking. Your "story" has nothing at all to do with CB radio. Maybe it's the heat, Jerry? You appear to be lowering yourself to the level of DouGay Adair N8WWM, who is widely hailed as the newsgroup idiot! |

Go back and read it again--carefully. It was merely a funny story. The guy

MAN, are people sensitive! I read the story, thought it was amusing (like those "Darwin Awards", or a guy robs a bank and his pants fall down, etc), and just posted it simply as a funny story. No harm meant at all, and I got a sarcastic reply. ![]() Jerry "Richard Cranium" wrote in message om... |

Dickieboy hasn't quite caught on yet, the words "citizens band" is what confused him, he hasn't yet realized that CB stands for citizens band. What do you expect from someone who dosen't even know how to find the 10 meter band? |
