Steve is welcome to come down here any time he wants. He has an open
invitation. And I prefer to call him friend, not peepeeholic.

Steve is also welcome here in Texas, they even sell Rolling Rock down
hers, so he should feel right at home.

Thanks Lancer and Warrior..

oh, BTW, Steve, if you decide to come down this way. Don't do it from
June through August, the heat sucks. May is ok, and October.

Yea, that sounds like up here too. Spring and fall are the best
weather.

Not that I am a Rolling Rock fan, its ok, I prefer stronger tasting
beer.

Ever try Wildcatters crude stout?

South Texas beer that looks like crude oil.

Can't say I have, sounds potent if it's like the dark beers here.

snipped list

I do not need to tell him anything. At 44, he is old enough to make his
own decisions. Additionally, he can read so I am sure he saw your list.
You can be friends with someone and not agree with everything they do. You
do know that, don't you? I have made more mistakes in my life than I
care to list in this post. I bet we all have.

I am in Hotlanta. Tomorrow is gonna be in the high 70's, and I am
either gonna spend the day at the pool and do dinner in the city
with the family; or sneak out with a couple of the kids and go scalp
some tix to the Braves/Marlins game. Three more weeks of sanity,
and then I go back on the road full time. :-(

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of work do you do that keeps
you on the road so much?

Consulting. I am part of a team of folks that goes into Fortune 100's and
assists with dismantling old legacy computer systems (usually mainframe) and
replace them with ERP and CRM. Sorry for the buzzwords. ERP and CRM are
products like Siebel, SAP, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials.
You can read a blurb at http://erp.ittoolbox.com/ ERP/CRM is about a
$35B a year industry.

You are also safe, how much do you want to bet that you are now on the
F.B.I.'s watch list?

They know me all too well. I had a Secret Clearance for 12 years, Top
Secret for 2 years, and am in the process of reinstatement for the TS so
that I can be assigned to the IRS project in Washington DC.

Interesting story. I was on the ERP team that installed SAP at Kennemetal,
in Latrobe PA. We used to sneak into the Rolling Rock facility because they
served free beer in the lunchroom. How cool is that?

Haven't had more than a sip of my wife's beer in almost 20 years. But if
she gets something fun, I always take a few sips. I prefer Octoberfest's
as a first choice, and after than anything interesting.

Steve - how fast can you drive? Tonight is opening night at my NHRA track.

I did basic training (Lackland AFB in San Antonio) in February thinking that
would be nice weather. Even then it was in the upper 80's many days. Texas
is like a big African Desert planted smack dab in the middle of USA.
