Default About to buy Midlands radios - Should I ?

Hi all,

I am about to buy 2 pairs of Midland 2 way radios.
The G300 (3W) and the GXT400 (4W).
From www.thetwistergroup.com

My last one (left on the roof of my car and never found again) was a very
reliable Kenwood UBZ-LH68 (0.5W). Will I be disapointed with the build
quality of Midland? None in Australia to touch before buying.

Am'I making a mistake... Is there a better place to buy?
I am in Australia and very new to the handheld 2 way radio world.

If these are useless radios or an notoriously bad shop please tell me.
The shop should be right if www.resellerratings.com is correct. But not many
people rated them.

Patrick.
