Default Info abt Radio Shack TRC 494 cb/wx h/t

I am looking for a battery pack for this 40 ch cb/ weather radio h/t. The
radio Shack part nr/cat # is 21-1589. I was able to get the antenna and
operating manual but they say they have no battery packs available. The
copyright date on the manual is 1996. I don't have any R/S cat. from that
far back. There are no pictures of the radio in the operations book. If even
I had a picture, I could carry that around with me and ask sellers if they
had any info or non working unit to sell. I can operate this unit with 12v
wall wort or 12 v from car battery. It would be nice to be able to carry
this unit with me and have it self contained. Any help appreciated and as I
have a huge collection of manuals, mostly ham/sw receivers, some test gear
and CB xcvrs, Military manuals, ham antennas, rotators etc,I can return the
favor easily. Thanks in advance & any suggestions/help very much
appreciated. Phil

The part number ( cat nr) mentioned is not for the battery pack but for the
radio.
