I just purchased this radio, and have not hooked it up yet. My wife is
off in the car at the moment. I figured now would be a good time to ask a few questions. Dynamike - Delta Tune and RF Gain- I read the manual, and understand it, but is there any better setting for each of these? What should I do and not do to these controls. Just wondering which controls are more sensitive to not hearing TX from others if their set to high, and vice versa....which ones set to high or low will cause my TX not to be heard, stuff like that. Hope someone can help. |

Dynamike That's a microphone gain control. If someone says you are too loud or your audio is crappy, turn it down. - Delta Tune That's for tuning in people who have had mods done to their radios and can no longer tune the exact channel frequency. It also helps for people who still use old crystal rigs because crystal frequencies tend to drift over time. and RF Gain- Turn it up to bring in weak stations. Turn it down to cut down on background noise. I read the manual, and understand it, but is there any better setting for each of these? What should I do and not do to these controls.
