Hello Larry:
Any mic can be wired to any radio. It may take a little doing tho. I would want to know is the MC80 mic a mic that takes a voltage to operate, like 9 or 12 volts? Some mic's have switches to move the VFO or memory channels up and down and these are not required to make the mic wic work. So not all the wires will be used. Looking at the diagrams would help. The Yaesu has nine wires and the Mc-80 has seven, would like to hook up a desk power mic. Could deffinetly use some experienced help. Thank You, 73s Larry Waisner/KD5VXK |
