A brand new in the box never used still sealed in the original plastic bag 1975 Royce 1-612 23 channel mobile CB gets opened for the first time! It even smells new! I left the pictures big, so you could see all the details! Modem users may have to wait awhile for all the pictures to load. Enjoy! http://www.shadowstorm.com/cb/NIB-Royce-1-612.html I did not have the heart to take it out of the plastic after all these years. It is still sealed in the original plastic bag right now, and back in the box. Damn. That is an ancient golden oldie. I haven't seen a vertical meter in ages. If I'm not mistaken, the "gyro-lock" referred to the style of the mounting bracket. Seems to me like the company was in business only a few years and went under. |

Vinnie S. Need backlava (sp) for a counterpoise. Should have my rig running in a about a week. First, I have to run a conduit to my attic from my basement. Why do you need conduit? To make it easier in case I ever run other cable if I go to ham. If this was a one-time thing, I wouldn't run it. What diameter are you running? (plastic?) Yeah. 1". I am running it in a closet wall. Remember, I live in a ranch, so it's only an 8 foot run. Vinnie S. |

One would assume it would be to run power. Why would one assume that? Can you assume something else for once? But that's just a guess... And a bad one. I don't see how intalling a plastic 8' conduit can be associated with power. Let me ask you a question. If I run 9913 or LMR-400 inside a PVC conduit, increase my ability to run power? Is that type cable physically transformed into a high power cable, if I run it in a 1" pvc conduit? Seriouly, if I were to go take a ****, someone on this group would associate it with me wanting running power. FYI, I am going to run barefoot. By choice. By my choice. Not by choice and -pro or anti power people on this group. If you can't believe that, that is you problem. When I get setup, I will gladly pose pictures. Vinnie S. |

It'a amazing how many of these you can find. Yet I go to an occasional estate sale or garage sale, and have never seen even a broken CB. Check this out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW Where do they find this ****? It's near mint. He might get $150 for this. Vinnie S. |

I had one of those back in the 70's. That one looks nice. Most are in bad-good condition. To get one in VG or near mint, would fetch upwards of $200. This guy having the box, will help. Vinnie S. |
