Most of it according to personal taste. If you want that loud boomy and somewhat tinny sound, the D-104 was tops. If you wanted a little more low end, or you ran SSB a bit more, the Turner +3 was a good choice. The ultimate performer on SSB was the Turner Super Sidekick. Dave "Sandbagger" |

I heard Turner Microphones were designed and made by 2 Mortuary brothers
that decided that their PA System did not fill enough sound in the mortuary room. |
