Yep, kdl-6824, Lafayette tuber of some sort and a droopy drawers..used
to have to search for someone to talk. No one knew what the hell a CB
was when I first got mine, that was 30 some years ago. :^O



conversation from 1970 -
whats that thing on your roof?
an antenna.
what tv stations can you get with that?
its not for tv but for cb.
cb, whats that?

HA! That's about the way I remember it too, Jim. My old man thought I
wuz crazy when I asked him to put that thing on the chimney.

was very little traffic. sad to say but around here its like that again.
i hear the spanish speaking operators in bridgeport connecticut and some
others around 27.580 usb up near the electric boat yard in new london
and thats about it.

Yep, ever go to the coffee breaks and put a face to a name back in the day?

I like the quiet anymore..makes for some fun ground wave. The Spanish
has been there since the 70's too.
