I've been out of the loop as far as prices on [used] CB radios as of late.
Approximately what would a Radio Shack Mobile SSB CB be worth - used? I have one in relatively decent shape but with signs of use, seems to work ok. I don't have it here in front of me, but the number is like 449 or 499. Also, I have a Courier Classic PLL 40 which is a mobile size CB, all chrome looking, runs off AC or DC. I've not tried the AC section (no cord), but except for the PA system, seems to work like a charm. Any idea on it's worth? If I have the schematic for this one, I may repair the PA section OR someone who wishes to buy, can buy it cheap and tackle it themselves. Have a TRC 422A also, which needs the squelch repaired. As soon as I can dig up a schematic, I am going to tackle that one. Needs a mic also! Have some other [used] sets available as well... Cobras, Realistic, Midland, etc. No other sidebands. Power mics available as well. A Cobra Power mic and a Turner (+3? or +2 MU) - I can't recall - not looking at it. It is the older blue mobile power mic. I think it took the 7 vdc battery. Have a couple Cobra mics as well. A 4 and 5 pin. Other General purpose mics also available. Have some "Commercial" quality antennas available as well. Not your typical "CB" Antenna names. These are pretty broad band. They're new in the box with "factory" warranty. Low loss coax also available - with "factory" warranty. If anyone may be interested in either of the above, let me know. Otherwise, was planning on throwing them on E-Bay. Shipping would not be included and payment only via Postal MO or Pay Pal. Insurance would also be mandatory. Pics and/or other info available. ALL items being sold AS IS - be they new or used. Trying to clear out some inventory. If in the case of an Antenna/coax problem, you'd have to write the factory for assistance. IF you have other needs, write me. I may have it. cl |
