Default radio worth

I've been out of the loop of CBs and their associated values - more so for
used sets. What would a Realistic SSB Mobile TRC-449 (21-1562) with stock
mic - be worth? I got one here I want to get rid of and have a potential
buyer. The set seems to have been working ok when checked. Physically it is
about an 8.5 - 9.0 out of 10.

Thanks,

cl

Acording to these completed auctions, $40-60

Uniden Grant XL or LT, or their base equivalents, are worth a mint.

Thanks... I was thinking about $50, so I was in the ball park. As to seeing
the auctions, I did some searching, not sure how I missed those. Then again,
I've never thought to look at "completed auctions". I didn't think they were
still viewable. I don't have any of the others you name, but I do have a few
Cobras and such floating around. Got about 12 radios here to sell off.
Thanks again, much appreciated.

Complete auctions is a great tool. I use it to see if something is worth
selling, and if I am buying, how much to expect to pay. I was selling some old
books for a while, and some that had 7 completed auctions and no sales, I would
not put up.

Cobra 148 and 2000 bases are worth a mint. Some others are worth some too. What
ones you got?

I can understand the Cobra 2000 still being a sought after radio. But
I'd take the 138XLR (the Cobra equivalent of the TRC 449) over a 148
any day. They were much more modifiable and capable, with the sole
exception of the noise blanker.

That's my opinion anyway YMMV.
