Frank;
Thanks, but you know my inlaws are from that area...
I'll get back up that way, we just wanted to go some place
different this year. We'll keep your list of ideas of places to
go in mind tho.. haven't done some of them...

Yeah, but it's fun talking about it. Most people think there's
nothing up here but a bunch of trees and it rains all the time.

Isn't a Sasquatch rumored to be roaming in those parts?

Several, and they smell -REALLY- bad.

That should make them easier to track.

Didn't work in Dayton, did it

Landshark

I wuz coward hunting there..slight difference Shark. O well, there's
always a drunken weekend at Findlay to look forward to..reckon he'll
recognize me with my Sterling Marlin cap on?

Â*My wife and I are thinking about taking a trip to Fla. And maybe
doing some fishing. Any suggestions?
-
Anywhere in the pile in particular? What time of year you coming?
Freshwater or sal****er? Offshore or inshore? Deep sea, sport, food or
gamefishing? Plan it right and you can fill your belly, mount on your
wall and get pictures for bragging.
-
No where in particular in mind, still in the planning and idea stage.
Sal****er, a ways off shore.. But not a big game fish, something that
will keep you busy catching them even if they are ones you toss back..
Probably around September, watched a couple of shows about "bone fish"
They are an inland fish, right?
-
Mostly shallow water, yea. The Keys or Islamorda is where you want to go
for Bonefish, although in September you will need to make reservations
ahead of time no matter where you go in Florida. World record Bonefish
records were set in the last couple of years...three in Biscayne Bay and
a mess of other records were set in around the waters of Islamorda.
Problem with Bonefishing in September is your best hours are just about
over by the time the sun comes up,,,the heat is your enemy. April and
May are prime months for Bonefishing. If all you want is plenty of
action and the species don't matter, make sure to mention that when you
book your reservation. Most day trips are 4, 6 or 8 hours. Of course,
you can always charter or rent your own boat and gear for the day.

Thanks for all the ideas Twist... When time gets closer I'm sure we
will have more questions for you..
