block for sale! 300 or 3,000 wont get you out during a
poor conditions on the bands!!!

Can the 10 meter stuff, and get on 6, better openings!

I agree. Your only supposed to sell that kind of modified radio
gear on e-Bay and/or the 'Swap-and-Shop' section of QRZ.com
to hams or boaters who would pay that kind of money for a "jeeped-radio".

I just spoke to a couple hams on 10 Meters that were in Michigan. I am in NJ,
and am pushing out a whopping 15 watts PEP, give or take a watt.

But location sometimes will. And when long distance propagation is poor,
local dx (all across and up and downt the state) works just fine.
Besides, down here we don't lose the propagation like you suffer. Texas
and the other gulf states are most always available.
