Default Bring me up to date...

Since I have been working on some new products for my business, I have
to admit that I have not been keeping up on the latest CB radios.
What's the latest and greatest out there now?

Nothing that I am aware of. With the exception of Cobra taking a stab at 10
meters that can be converted. Google the Cobra 150 and 200.

OK... interesting. I'm surprised Cobra is going down that road. The CB
business must be slow. Well... I've always been partial to Cobra
equipment. Maybe it's because they are local here in Chicago... and I
could always get schematics easily. Thanks for the info Vinnie.

Cobra has been bashed since they came out with soundtracker and went away from
Uniden. They say this is made in Phillippines. Little info is available on them.

All the locals gave up on CB and went 2 meter FM.

Now I have a shelf full of useless radios.

Ugh. I am not big on 2 meters. I think the only reason is because they can carry
small handhelds. I was on 2M/440 split repeater this March, and there wasn't a
peep here. The CB has many more people on it.

twitlips keeps clogging up his mike elements with ejecta from his
frothing lips. It is reported that he buys his mikes wholesale in case
lots. Twitlips, see if you can get 'em to add a case of Trojans and KY
along with the mikes next time...might save ya some shipping costs, and
you know how you and FUGGLY need that stuff too.
