I'm in the market for a new radio. I want a quality radio but I wont have
the sam etruck everyday so I'll have move the radio from truck to truck so I wont be able to set the SWR like I'd like. Can you reccomend a unit that will preform "well" under these conditions? Thanks, |

This won't help you with the radio selection, but just so you know, once the
SWR is set right, it will never change (short of a damaged antenna, coax, or major change to the body of the vehicle), no matter what radio is hooked up to it. It's all about the antenna and what it's mounted to. Has nothing to do with the radio at all... "driver42" wrote in message ... I'm in the market for a new radio. The best mobile rig I've ever had was the President/Uniden Grant.
Rejects engine electrical noise, and has superior reception. I tried the HR2510, but was disappointed. Hope this helps some |
