Yea, quite a bit actually, it's from the hot dry summer we've had.

Hot and dry here also, the pecans aren't filling out. Unless we get
some rain real soon they won't be worth picking.

Did you get much from Rita?

No rain, quite a bit of wind. It went off to the east of us. We were
hoping for a big storm, for much needed rain. I was hoping that the
storm would hit and knock our power out for a few day, good excuse to
stay home. The only real effect from Rita was that everyone that came
up this way emptied out all of the gas stations...

LOL!! My cousin has a 125 gallon cap. on his diesel F350. It took
him some 17 hours to drive from his place in Santa Fe to his ranch in
Seguin on Wednesday, that's messed up.

No difference. A good tasting, well balanced beer, is better
than a stuffy glass of wine any day of the week.

With racial pride, sad hearts they hide,
Thinking only of themselves,
They shun the light,
They think they're right
Living in the empty shells.

Most definitely. One cousin lives in Santa Fe with a second
home in Seguin. His brother lives outside of Austin, in Jonestown.
Their father lives in Dallas.
Haven't been down since last year at this time (Austin has grown
like wildflowers), but try to visit them once every couple of years.
