Comes with 30A fuses so I'm guessing less than that, although that seems a bit low considering the output power. Yeah I thought it would draw more than that too, but that's plenty. What's the advertised rms on ten? (i knew i should have read the label) Can it take a rough truck ride? Simple doughnuts, gettin a little air on some dips, or a multi-revolution roll down an embankment? Mostly just a stiff suspension pick-up truck.. roll over a quarter and tell you if it was heads or tails. I dunno, are those transistors ready for that? I've had smaller ones in there like the palomar that's in there now. I've never used a high drive portable amp, but I might want to try it. I only use high drives in the house and they are among the best made imo. Just curious, not really in the market right now. Since it probably cost upwards of a half grand or more, I would use a secure shock absorbing mount or keep it restrained on the passenger seat by a seat belt. Maybe have both the radio and amp bungee corded together and both secured by the seat belt. Hrmm.. -- http://NewsReader.Com/ |
