Default PSK31 contests and contest etiquette?

Folks

A local amateur, who knows a lot more about PSK31 than I do, is
interested in participating in a PSK31 contest. I know how to use
the Internet more than he does. smile

Which are the bigger ones?

What is proper operating technique with respect to power levels during
a PSK31 contest?

That contest is probably over now,
but generally, a modest power and a cautious sound level is better, to
avoid distortion and harmonics. Up to let's say 30-40 W is normal.
