Don't you have to recompile the kernel with the AX.25 libraries though?
I'm trying to avoid that for now because I'm running Kanotix from a CD. |

There are precompiled kernels available with AX.25 support built in (as modules) if you install Linux on your hard drive (Libranet and Ubuntu, for example). I think a few of the live-CDs, such as (I think) AFU-KNOPPIX, Harv's Hamshack Hack, etc., have AX.25 capabilities as well. You should be able to locate these with Google. |
