Default AX25 asterix???

Dr Om's

I have a protocoll question...

The asterix, added in the path list, what meaning does that have???

Am i right in the assumption, that it identifies the transmitting digipeater
like this:

oz1aaaoz2bbb,oz3bbb*,oz4ccc

This packet is transmitted originally from oz1aaa and is destined to end at
oz2bbb, but the actual heard packet, is transmitted (relayed) by oz3bbb,
since the asterix is added to it's call....
