That would be cool. However, it took a long time to copy this station...over and over I copied 2B not 3B. And QRZ.com does list the 2B8 call as located in England...near London on the MacLoggerDX map. Is it possible to have a 2B8 call in the UK? or is it certain that it was 3B8 in the Indian Ocean? Thanks for helping a "newbie" ham John AB8O |

Never worked a 2B8, 2E at the most. was 3B8 in the Indian Ocean? Did you compare your QSO date/time with spots on the cluster? 7005.0 3B8CF 18-Oct-2006 0259Z WB7OJV 7005.1 3B8CF 18-Oct-2006 0236Z N4QS 7005.0 3B8CF 18-Oct-2006 0231Z cq DK2AI 7010.5 3B8CF 17-Oct-2006 0220Z RA3SL I'm pretty convinced you worked 3B8CF. |

I have MacLoggerDX if that helps. John AB8O |

I have MacLoggerDX if that helps. http://oh2aq.kolumbus.com/dxs is one of a number of places to look, you can use your regular web browser. It's a gateway to a network where people can report what DX they're hearing on what frequency. By the way, I concur with the other posters - I'd be pretty sure it was in fact 3B8CF you were hearing. He's really got a fantastic signal, showing up in places & at times where nobody else from that part of the world is around. -- Doug Smith W9WI Pleasant View (Nashville), TN EM66 http://www.w9wi.com |
