Frank, DL8YHR, will be the operator of the EME project at Oman
(Loc.: LL93) with the Team of A43DLH during November. He will be going
between 6th to 11th of november 2008 to Oman and be qrv with Longyagies
Preamps and 1KW at each of the two (or three, if lizens) bands via Moon.
RIG: 18XXX (2m) and 38XXX(70cm) and QRG: 144,100 MHz (rx up and down)
and 432,050 MHz (mainly CW).

From the 25th of september 2008 until 04th of Oktober 2008 a team of
6 ham's Joerg DL3NER, Walter DG5NGJ, Thomas DG5NGI, Ivo DL9MB,Heiko
DG8NGI and me Hubert DK9NCX, will be active from Montenegro as
4O/homecall. LATEST NEWS from Hubert, DG9NCX, dated 2008-09-22:
Station on 2m shall be 100W and 9 Element Yagi and on 6m a 5El and 100W.
WSJT will be possible on both bands on random (144.370 MHz and 50.230 MHz
4 O always tx 1st periode)...

Dave, N1EMC will be active holiday style as ZK2DF from Alofi, AH50BW. He
will be qrv between around 21 UTC on 24 October and around 8 UTC on the
31st, CQ WW SSB DX Contest included. He will operate SSB with some RTTY
on 6, 10, 12, 15, 17, 20 and 40 metres, with 100 watts into a vertical
for 6-20 metres and a dipole for 40 metres. QSL via home call (direct

GB2STI ( Steam Trains Ireland ) will be operating 'Railways On The Air'
the weekend commencing Saturday 27th September, from the excursion
platform of the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland Whitehead Co
Antrim. We intend to operate 80/40/20m and will also have a 2m multimode
station on air. The station will be operated by members and friends of
the Antril & District Amateur Radio Society as part of the celebrations
of the first steam passenger train to operate in the British isles.
Start time on Saturday is 10am special QSL Card is available for all
contacts made during the event via the qsl manager GI0KPF
