Frank, DL8YHR, is the OP of the EME project in OMAN at the A43DLH
Team and be at LL93 since 05th Nov. He is qrv with Longyagies, Preamps
and 1KW (INFO: sorry 70cm only 120W - 2008-11-05) at each of the two
bands via Moon. He will transfer the Infos and LOG during the time
HE http://www.mmmonvhf.de/latest.php?id=1361 . LATEST NEWS:
First day Frank could complete 30 QSOs but as well he have had some
trouble with his power amplifier on 2m (output now 600W on 2m).
Yesterday again a lot stations all over the world followed into his
EME Log. Today (7th) Frank is invited by the Sultan for a BBQ. If
early enough he might show up at his Moonset. More infos later on...

A group of IV3-operators will be active in MS from JN66 square
during Geminids shower, taking part in BCC-MS Contest. Callsign will
be IQ3AZ/p and locator will be JN66PB. They will try as well having
a MMMonVHF DXBlog online to spread infos (NO LOG during Contest!).

Rolf, DK2ZF, will return to Loddin on the Island of Usedom, JO74,
as soon gd strong TROPO condx occure! Will certainly be back to
JO74AA in November or December 2008 if some real good and stable
tropo conditions occure from that area... Will try to setup 2m,
70cm and as well the GHz bands 23cm and 13cm (with transverters)
and be as well equiped for some meteorscatter work.
LATEST NEWS from Rolf, DK2ZF, dated 2008-11-04: As soon Rolf will
be on the way to the island he will inform all via MMMonVHF to take

LATEST Mail from Dirk, ON5GS, about his EI-Trip, dated 2008-11-06
Hi, i will be qrv on 2m during BCC contest in IO55 (top-10 EU most
wanted) using EI/ON5GS/P with 4x6el DK7ZB and 200w from a berlingo-
shack in donegal NW-ireland from 10-20 dec 2008. All MS skeds before
and after contest and/or EME skeds during the period in moonset/
moonrise are welcome on or sms ++32477677005
or 14.345MHz during operation. Internet will not be available most
likely as its a remote location. (try via ON6NL on KSTchat or anyone
that has 20m beam...let ring once on my GSM and i listen on 14.345MHz).

ON58EXPO special event station reminding the EXPO in 1958 50 years
ago. Direct from the Atomium in Brussels. QRV on VHF 145.450 from
Nov 2 till Dec 31 2008. QRV on HF the weekends in December watch the

Special event station GB70RAF will be aired between November 14th
and December 11th to celebrate RAFARS 70th Anniversary. QTH will
be from Shaftesbury Dorset (WAB ST82). They plan to be QRV 80-10
meter CW and SSB, plus 2m FM. QSL via the RSGB bureau.
