DX TELNET FULL VERSION 5.5 (DXT32V55)
Fab, IK4VYX, has sent me the new full version 5.5 DX Telnet software.
I now have it on the download page at Golist.net. This version replaces
both the full version 5.4 and the version 5.5 upgrade. This new version
is the second of the 32 bit releases and is the platform that Fab will
be upgrading from now on. DX Telnet is a Windows based, DX oriented,
telnet application. Unlike the traditional telnet applications, DX Telnet
was designed to fit the DXer’s needs and to fix most of the well known
problems affecting the other traditional telnet applications...

F/LA0BY/p activity in BCC MS Contest 2008 from JN33LN (13./14.12.2008)
Weather permitting I hope to participate one or two days in the BCC
MS Contest from a location near Cannes, probably in JN33LN. I may not
be on all weekend, but at least Saturday evening and perhaps Sunday
morning until noon. I will try to find a spot with reasonably good
take-off from North to South-East. Operation will be in random WSJT
only. My equipment will be a single 9-ele-F9FT yagi and maximum 150W
RF power into the antenna. From the site I will not have access to
the Internet or DX-Clusters, but these shall not be used in that
contest anyway. SOURCE: Stefan at www.mydarc.de/la0by/dxped.htm

KS7S/p - DN71, DN80, DN81 and Beyond
Jim will be departing here on Saturday, November 22nd, to return to AZ.
I plan to operate Saturday Random Hour from DN81 and possibly DN80.
I have not yet decided where I will operate from for Sunday Random Hour.
My route will generally be south from DN81 and I will try and stop and
put out as many grid squares as I can on the weekend (weather permitting).

LAOS IS ON 6M!
On Tuesday, W1JJ and I both worked XW1A on 6m EME. Currently, the
antenna at XW1A/XW1B is only an old 5 element yagi, but they now
have made arrangements to obtain four of the 10 element YU7EF yagis
and plan to assemble a fully steerable array for 6m EME. I am sure
they will be very active on Es next summer with their new array, too.

CO2WF QRV soon on 6 meters
I received word from Winty that he will soon be QRV on 6 meters
digital modes. He has built an interface and is currently working on
an antenna. His locator is EL83we in Boca Ciega just east of Havana
City. His plans are to listen and send CQ's on 50.260MHz, and he is
planning to be active during the upcoming Geminids. Internet access
is very limited there, so he will not be on PJC, but I am sure he
would appreciate anyone hearing him to make his presence known there.
I am his QSL manager. Phil - N1KI
