C9 - MOCAMBIQUE
Marco,IK1RAE, will be active on the air signing C91VM from Oct 5-23.
He plans to work in SSB on 40m-10m running 100 watts into a vertical.
Marco plans to activate some offshore island groups (AF-061, AF-066,
AF-072, AF-088) as well. QSLs only direct via IK1RAE.
E5 - SOUTH COOK ISLANDS, OC-013
Bill,N7OU, will be QRV from Rarotonga (OC-013) as E51NOU working only
in CW on 80m-10m from Oct 5-30. His equipment includes a 100 watt radio
and a vertical antenna. QSLs via his homecall.
LX - LUXEMBURG
PA0JED, PA0TEN, PA1H, PA2AWU, PA2PKZ, PA4VHF, PA5CA, PA5R, PE2HG and
PD9DX will show up as LX/PA6Z in CW, SSB and PSK31 on 160m-6m from
Oct 4-10. The QSL manager PA9M confirms also via the bureau.

VP8/SG - SOUTH GEORGIA ISLANDS, AN-007
Once again Lars,MM0DWF (
http://www.lars-boehme.de/vp8dif), is working
in Husvik on South Georgia (AN-007, WAP GBR-27). His stay will start in
the beginning of October lasting until the mid of November. He will be
QRV as VP8DIF in RTTY, CW and SSB during his little spare time.

3D2 - FIJI, OC-016
The main island Viti Levu (OC-016) will be the QTH of Jacek,SP5EAQ, and
Jacek,SP5DRH, during their four week DXpedition beginning on Oct 1.
Their callsigns will be 3D2MJ (SP5EAQ) and 3D2KJ (SP5DRH) and they will
work on all bands (focus on the lowbands) using K2 and K3 radios, small
amplifiers and vertical antennas. QSLs via homecalls.
3D2/CR - CONWAY REEF, OC-112
Conway Reef was activated for the first time by 3D2CR twenty years ago.
The same team which activated TX9 (Chesterfield) a few years ago now
plans to show up as 3D20CR from Conway Reef from Oct 1-11. The team
members Norbert,DJ7JC, Jan,DJ8NK, Dieter,DJ9ON, Heye,DJ9RR, Hawa,DK9KX,
Hans,DL6JGN, and Ron,PA3EWP, will be active in CW/SSB/RTTY on 160m-6m:
CW: 1826.5, 3505, 7020, 10104,14024,18080,21024,24894,28024,50124 kHz
SSB: 3799, 7070, 14190, 18145, 21290, 24950, 28490, 50124 kHz
RTTY: 10140, 14080, 18110, 21080, 24920, 28080 kHz.
Their QSL manager is DJ8NK: Jan confirms via bureau and also direct.
He points out that direct QSLs should be sent only with new IRCs which
are valid also in 2010 because the mailing of the QSLs will start not
earlier than January 2010.

7Q - MALAWI
Ely,IN3VZE, announced to show up as 7Q7HB in SSB and RTTY on all bands
from Oct 2-20. His QTH will be situated at the southwest coast of the
Lake Malawi. Ely confirms QSOs direct or via bureau via his homecall.
SOUTH PACIFIC TRIP
Rick,AI5P, is travelling through the South Pacific again from Oct 1-31.
Oct 1-8: FK, Grande Terre/French New Caledonia (OC-032, DIFO FK-001,
WLOTA L-1280),
Oct 10-18: YJ, Vanuatu (OC-035) as YJ0PX,
Oct 22-31: VK9N, Norfolk Island (OC-005, WLOTA L-1469) as AI5P/VK9N.
All activities will tke place mainly in CW on all HF bands.
Rick confirms QSLs via his homecall, direct or via bureau.
CANADA, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
The "Ontario Provincial Police Force" (OPP) is celebrating its
100th anniversary this year. Several members of the police will use
the special callsign VC3COPP in CW and SSB from Oct 2-31.
Unfortunately QSLs only direct via VE3BDB.

THE NETHERLANDS, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
The "Ellert and Brammert" museum in Schoonoord is existing for 55 years
now which is the reason for the special event station PD55EA to be
activated in SSB and digital modes on 10m, 20m and 40m from Oct 1-28.
