SPECIAL EVENT STATION W8W FEBRUARY 25-26, 2017



Commemorating the 100-year anniversary of the February 24, 1917 Washingtons
Birthday trans-continental east coast to west coast and back amateur radio
relay message by member stations of the Radio League of America (1915-1922)
sent from the mayor of New York City to the mayors of Los Angeles and
Seattle and a reply back.



The HAMILTON AMATEUR RADIO CLUB ("HAMARC") will be operating W8W.



Tentative operating hours are Saturday Feb 25...

25 FEB: ARISS contact re-scheduled for 2 schools in France



As announced in the preceding Bulletin, an International Space Station
contact has been planned for astronaut Thomas Pesquet FX0ISS with Ecole
primaire Elie Desplan, Boissières, France and Marie Castang, Saint Dionisy,
France.



The event is re-scheduled Saturday February 25, 2017 at approximately 13:14
UTC, which is 14:14 CEWT. ( 14:14 local in Italy ) .



The contact will be operated by F4HHV.
