Episode 118 of the U.S. Lighthouse Societys Light Hearted podcast features John Huggins, KX4O, and yours truly, discussing the Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society (ARLHS). John, KX4O, the president of the ARLHS since 2016, is an electrical engineer living in Virginia. He has experience in astronomy, aerospace, and the radio communication field, and he reviews and writes about antennas and other technical topics in various online publications. He blogs about amateur radio at https://www.hamradio.me/. It was a lot of fun appearing on this podcast, and if youre interested at all in lighthouses, you might want to not only listen to this episode, but others as well. Jeremy DEntremont, the host, interviews people from all over the world who are involved in lighthouse operation, preservation, and history. With the weather warming up here in the northern U.S., you can expect more hams to be activating lighthouses. I certainly plan to be more active this summer.
