Barry Walker G4PCL

The club is very sad to announce the passing of Barry Walker G4PCL who had
been a member since the early days of the club. He died in hospital on
Tuesday May 18th 2021 after a short illness. Maintaining a strong interest
in CW he often helped to train others. In addition to operating Barry loved
construction, particularly of QRP rigs. These were demonstrated at the
Field Days and Special Events such as Steam Fairs he supported. With his
frequent jokes Barry will be sadly missed and our thoughts are with his
family at this time.
