Default ZK3SB operation

Hi Guys,

Has anybody on the East Coast of North America -- specifically the
northeast -- managed to get ZK3SB on 17 or 20 meters yet? I've
occasionally seen them spotted on 17 long after local sunset in NYC,
but have never heard them. Likewise, the only spots I've ever seen for
them on 20M SSB are at 0900-1100Z, long before local sunrise, before
20's open here.

Using W6EL Prop (plugging in this week's average solar numbers),
there *should be* good propagation between NYC and ZK3 throughout the
morning, on the east coast, on 20M. Likewise, conditions shouldn't be
all that bad on 15, 12 and 17 throughout the east-coast afternoon as
well. Are they focusing on EU/JA or almost entirely on CW? These seem
to be the spots in greatest numbers on DX Summit.

I did manage to get them on 12 this afternoon, but that's the only
time I've heard them since their first day's operation on 15. Am I the
only one in the northeast who's missed them? I'd also love to have a
shot at them on either 40 or 80, but with their operation winding
down, I'll settle for 15 or 20 :-)

Peter,

I worked ZK3SN yesterday afternoon - around 1:00pm. They were very strong
into Michigan - over S9, and the signal stayed workable for a few hours.
There were W1's 2's and 3's working them - so I would guess they were also
strong 400 miles east of me.

ZK3SB was on again last night, around 7:00pm, on 21m RTTY, and although they
were not S9 were quite work-able.

Around 1pm? What band, 20 or 15?

They were strong on 15 SSB tonight (Friday) until about 7:30 local
time - and I got the linear tuned at the *precise* moment they
announced they were going QRT :-(

One last chance tomorrow :-) fingers crossed. At least I have them on
12m, but I'd like to get them on at least one non-WARC band.
