hw-100.. I am, in particular, wanting to see the front end.... are the
rf amplifier tuned circuits single of double tuned?...

Go here and look for the Heathkit you want.

Seems to be about a 14 meg download for the hw100. The SB series is almost
the same rig except for the VFO .
YOu might look at the sb-102 as I think it has a few improvments such as a
hotter tube for the first RF amp in the receiver.
