The only tedious part is winding the toroid coils. I think they are available pre-wound. The assembly instructions are clear and the board is easy to stuff and solder. Calibration only involves a few watts from a transmitter and a Digital Voltmeter. If you have done any electronic assembly before, you should have no problems. I noticed that the difference in price between kit and assembled is only about $40. You don't save that much. I just like to do my own assembly. 73, KO6NO |
