Some months ago I posted a message dealing with the fact that the Kenwood
TS-570 series HF RTX was not able to generate 100 W PEP in SSB but rather
something around 60 W on the antenna altough the RTX emitted well its 100W
in CW.
As expected the OM who did the test, didn't made it correctly (do not speak
about theory)... Bad news for him.
In fact this perfoming RTX emit well all its power...

I made some tests in depth in company of Kenwood engineers (Ref. Marconi
Instruments radio test set 2967)

Pour ceux qui en douterait encore, le Kenwood TS-570D, emetteur HF que
j'utilise en portable, malgré l'avis de certains qui soupsconnent une
faiblesse Ã* l'émission, fonctionne TB et sort toute sa puissance.
La question était de savoir pourquoi en CW il sortait envrion 100 W et rien
que 60W en USB.
En fait l'amateur qui avait effectué ce test s'y est très mal pris (ne
parlons pas théorie, enveloppe, etc).
J'ai réalisé différents test sur oscilloscope ainsi qu'un test direct en
émission chez Kenwood (Ref. Marconi Instruments radio test set 2967)
