Default TUNER/CALL SWITCH

Question - on the original IC706, does the TUNER/CALL SWITCH work? Or do I
need to switch/jumper something under the hood to get it to work? On my
MK2g it works just fine.
Any thoughts?

You may need a cable to run to a compatable tuner. What tuner are you
using?

It should be the same for each radio. The AH4 is a really nice tuner. I
use mine portable and found that it works well feeding a vertical with
radials elevated rather than just a rod stuck in the ground. I am
assuming that you are using the control cable that comes with the AH4. I
have had difficulty with my 706MII and the tuner when I did not push the
control cable plug all the way into the radio. It seemed like it was in,
but it needed another push to seat the connectors.
