Default E.F. Johnson Speed-X Bug Help Needed

Subject: E.F. Johnson Speed-X Bug Help Needed

One of my favorite bugs fell off my desk and I broke the metal support
that holds the lever. Have glued it but is not too strong. If anyone
has one of these old bugs and would sell this part please get in
contact with me.

Thanks, 73

Hello Bob .... I have been able to hard solder small pieces together quite
well. I am no master craftsman either. Just make sure that you clamp the
pieces together properly with tiny and I do mean tiny pieces of solder in
the joint space of the break. Use the right flux ...very important and
practice with a test piece before. You can get sets with flux and silver
solder for a few bucks. Good luck
