Default Comet CF360 duplexer, Icom 730 and a 2 meter rig.

That says part of it.

The comet CF-360 is rated 45 db isolation between the HF (1-30 MHz)
and VHF (49-470 MHz).

The Icom 730 is rated 100 watts (probably 200 PEP on ssb), the 2 meter
rig is rated at about 35 watts. I've got an MFJ 1296 antenna already
hooked to the 730, which is working well enough. I'll use the 1296
(which is good for HF, and also 6 and 2). I'll be using it to combine
the 2 meter and HF signals to the one antenna, so no surprise there.

Major question is if 45 db isolation is enough, all things considered.
Not an area that I know enough about to know if there will be a
problem, I suspect that there will not be a problem, but I'd like to
hear opinions.

Thanks

Harvey
