If everyone looks down a few post you will see the problem is still
here and he has ignored all the complaints directed at him. FA: fa Fa: fa FA Get the picture?? I think that's why they post E-Bay junk here. It does make me wonder how effective E-Bay is though, if it needs the extra "help". Happy Holidays to all...Howard Mark Russo wrote in message ... Hhhmmm, thought this group was rec.radio.amateur.equipment? The FT-847 is amateur equiptment. :-) Mike Coslo wrote: Because this isn't the group for that, that's why. The groups are divided into topics so that people have an idea what might be in them. Mark Russo wrote: Why the heck not? As long as one uses FA in the subject line. I know some folks are touchy about things like that. I picked up a Yaesu FT-847 on Ebay via a post here. I paid $675 for it on ebay about a year ago. The rig is flawless and works great!! Keep the ebay posts coming!!! Someone else will be wondering why the heck they can't post ebay ads for their Hummel figurines soon! But then again, some people enjoy spam too! 8^) - Mike - -- |

Don't forget the many which are posted repeatedly for the same item, or the hourly updates on when the auction closes. My idea would be to have a special Website for all of the eBay auctions, and the people who want to look at auction items could go there, and others could choose not to. They could call it ebay.com or something, have a search engine, and all sorts of other features. What a great idea, why did someone not think of this before? That way, people with six or more working brain cells would be able to go there and just put in what they were interested in and find it then there would be no need to spam DISCUSSION newsgroups with ebay ads. But even is such a place existed, the ebay clowns don't think others have the capability of using such a sophisticated search engine so it behooves them to make sure we know about their auction through the newsgroups. |
