Hi all,
I've searched using google but can't find anything exactly on this topic. This newsgroup was the closest thing I can find. I have the Jensen 2.4 ghz a/v sender and receiver system. This system works fairly well but I would like to boost the output of the sending unit as it can be finicky at times. Has anyone done this or does anyone know where I can find plans/schematics to do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. R |

What do you mean by "finicky?" Are you trying to xmit outside the
effective (recommended) range? Remember, at 2400mHz, things like air conditioning ducts and walls can interfere with signals. What kind of antenna does the system use? Making certain that the rx/tx antennas aren;t blocked (or close to a wall, metal plate, etc) is a simpler way to ensure reliable operation. More info is needed... +++ talltorontoguy wrote: Hi all, I've searched using google but can't find anything exactly on this topic. This newsgroup was the closest thing I can find. I would take a look at California Eastern Lab's website, MCL's website, or
RFMD's website. Both of them should have some helpful information. Pete talltorontoguy wrote in message om... Hi all, I've searched using google but can't find anything exactly on this topic. R If you can stand it to be directional, you can put a corner reflector on the antenna. There are a bunch of websites that address this issue for wireless lan. Cardboard, aluminum foil, origami and "you've got gain." mike -- Return address is VALID. Bunch of stuff For Sale and Wanted at the link below. Toshiba & Compaq LiIon Batteries, Test Equipment Honda CB-125S $800 in PDX TEK Sampling Sweep Plugin and RM564 Tek 2465 $800, ham radio, 30pS pulser Tektronix Concept Books, spot welding head... http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Monitor/4710/ |
