Ft-50 problem

Hi Guys.

I have a ft-50 that I have had for years now.
I am having a problem with it staying powered up.
It powers up and then shut down as if the battery is flat. It is doing the
same thing even with 12v connected.

Does anyone have any ideas or had the fault before.

Any help would be very much appreciated
