Hi,
Chance or not, I received in less than 3 days, 2 reviews of the DSPBlaster. In both cases the amateurs appreciate much this small application (no more supported nor sold) in condition of heavy QRM. Has someone already tested and reviewed side by side performances of this DOS application "DSPBlaster" vs all the DSP available in a high-end RTX like an Yaesu FT100MP MarkV or alike ? Some users of the DSPBlaster told me (at least for CW) that the product is far better than any DSP currently available in any RX. But none of them has ever work with high-end RTX (only a TS-50 or 570D) like an FT1000MP MarkV or even with a Ten-Tec Orion. I 'd be curious to get figures or audio files on both devices in CW and SSB mode when both systems use all their filters to fight against RFI and noise... PS. Has someone an information stating that the upgrade of the DSPBlaster routine was canceled due to a governmental action (NSA) that 'd have confiscated the source code of the application for its own activities in "trouble water"... ? Thanks in advance 73 Thierry, ON4SKY http://www.astrosurf.com/lombry/ |
