Question Yaesu FTE-36 Tone Brd.

This Tone Board was an accessory with the FT-726 144/440mhz Base transceiver. I need the DIP switch combinations to select frequency. Should have been part of the installation sheet for the FTE-36.

Jeff-

The FTE-36 is also used in the FT-730R and possibly others. There is no
tone setting data in the FT-730R owner's manual, but you may find
someone with that radio who has the information you need.

There is a data sheet for the FTS-32E encoder at
http://foxtango.org/Files/FTS32E_Toneboard.pdf. It has switch
settings that may be the same as for the FTS32R encoder. The switch
setting for 88.5 Hz (11100 for DIP switches 1-2-3-4-5) agrees with the
setting shown in the FT-726R owner's manual (111000 for switches
1-2-3-4-5-6).

For the FTE-36, the manual shows (000111 for switches 1-2-3-4-5-6)
setting for 88.5 Hz. Since this is backwards from the FTS-32R, it is
possible the table given in the FTS32E data sheet can be adapted to the
FTE-36 if you reverse the switch numbers.
