My island neighbor George W9EVT had some unsupervised urchins in his shack
during a major event on the farm, youngsters whose curiosity set them into
twiddling knobs and pushing buttons. Stuff like that happens and while the
radios were none the worse for the attentions, the settings were partially

Island Tower and Antennas Arrived

Though the tower won’t go up until spring, along with antennas it has
arrived on Washington Island. Timing to have it on the air all depends on
concrete work. Though I had a verbal that I was in this fall’s schedule it
might have to be put off until spring. The crate holds the new []
