Well, he's selling a bunch of amps which are "illegal for use on 11
meters" but which appear to be _capable_ of being used on 11 meters
(and are pretty clearly _intended_ to be used in that fashion).

He's also selling "export radios".

Doesn't look at all legal to me. The FCC frowns on (forbids) the sale
of linear amps capable of 11-meter operation, even if they are
described as "export-only" products.

It'll be interesting to see whether this guy manages to avoid the kind
of multi-thousand-dollar fine that the FCC is levying on another
dealer who got caught selling Palomar CB linears (Paladen
Communications, last October).

Now, whether Radioactive Radios is describing the stuff he is selling
with technical accuracy, I have no idea.

I do _not_ wish to receive unsolicited commercial email, and I will
boycott any company which has the gall to send me such ads!

The feds busted a couple companies recently for selling Export radios and
such. I hope he has a nice big piggy bank full of money for the long haul.
Sooner or later, he will go down and when he does, it's going to cost him.
Will they never learn?

I`m not concerned with the FCC bull****,they come and they go and they
never catch'em all.
What I`m after is possibly someone thats done buisness with him and or
has first hand knowledge of his "whackpack" tuneing. For $260 that
General Lee he has listed is a killer deal, set up the way it is.
Run with a 10K it should be sweeeeeeet !!
With all the tweak shops out there half-assing their P/T specials on
cheap meters and users thinking their large and in charge when in fact
their **** aint **** !!.
