Default 3-500Z Eimac Tubes

A year or so ago I put out a message that I had a pair of Eimac
3-500Z tubes that were new, but have been sitting in a box for 35
years. Asked a few questions and received a few replies.

Pleased to report that the tubes were finally fired up and are
working fine. They are dated 1970. Filaments were warmed up for
a day and voltages applied by a rheostat, slowly.

About 20 years ago I paid $50 apiece and simply let them sit.
I have a Kenwood TL-922A amp so now I have some backup tubes.

Just a follow-up to a message sent a long time ago.
