I've got 2 Turner mikes that I'd like to clean up.... a +3 Sidekick, and a
near identical one without the preamp (manufactured by Telex). I cannot figure out how to dissemble the mic element part (the part that sits at the top of the mike stand). Is there a trick? 73 Kevin VE9XYZ |

Been there, done that...
On Plus Three and Sidekick desk mics, you have to pry the little Turner emblem off the rear of the mic head to expose the Phillips screw that holds the mic element assembly into place. There's another Phillips screw inside the head that holds the head onto the neck. You'll see it once the mic element assembly is out of the way. 73, Dean K5DH In article , says...
