What are the differences between the Knight T-150 and T-150A?
People keep telling me, "There aren't many differences", but no one has told me what's different. Anyone know? 73, Dean K5DH |

Dean,
What are the differences between the Knight T-150 and T-150A? People keep telling me, "There aren't many differences", but no one has told me what's different. Anyone know? 73, Dean K5DH You can see schematics and chassis top views of the two transmitters by scrolling down at: http://www.virhistory.com/ham/kits.html The only major difference that I can see is that the T-150A has trimmer capacitors across L-2 and L-3 in the VFO -- probably to try to help with VFO stability (notoriously drifty on many T-150s). There may be changes to some of the other component values as well, but they weren't immediately obvious. Northe N6KO |
